To thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Central Talent Work Conference in September 2021, give full play to the advantages and characteristics of our school's talent training in the field of engineering technology, and do a good job in the pilot construction of the National Academy of Outstanding Engineers, on January 11,  The Graduate School and XUTELI School /Future Technology School jointly held a seminar on the construction of the National Academy of Outstanding Engineers.

The Graduate School Wang Junzheng, Executive Vice Dean, Xiao Wenying and Liu Jianhua, Vice Deans, Wang Ru, Director of the Training Office, Zhang Jingrui, Deputy Director of the Training Office, Liu Xin, Director of the Quality Office, XUTELI School /Future Technology School /Excellent Engineer College Executive Vice President Feng Huihua, Deputy Secretary and Vice President Li Chenggang, and Vice President Zhao Hao attended the meeting.

Wang Junzheng introduced the construction background, talent training objectives, training fields, training mode, and operating mechanism of the National Academy of Outstanding Engineers.  He said that the first thing to build the School of Excellent Engineers is to improve the political position, clarify the training goals, and serve the country's new industrialization development path, build an innovative country and the strategy of strengthening the country with talents; the second is to establish a good operating mechanism and implement the council system.  Establish a bank of on-campus and off-campus tutors and implement a fine-grained tutor system; the third is to promote the reconstruction of training programs, do a good job of strong coordination with enterprises, professional colleges and students, strengthen information construction, and empower enterprises and schools to carry out high-quality talent training.
